1 Chronicles 4:10
"Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, 'Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.' And God granted his request.

Psalms 37:4
"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Matthew 21:22
"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

James 4:3
"When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."

and God is trying to say that ,,
Jabez pray and God answer his request because he delight himself to God and he believe that he will recieve it if we pray. We should be pray sincerely and trust God that He will give our desires or our own request. He will not give us our desires or request if we are going to use it in our own pleasure..
we should always PRAY if we want something .. God answers our prayers in His time and if He knows that our desires is for His glory and not for our enjoyment.. ^_^
